This lovely, air-conditioned condo looks out on Prince Kuhio Park and beyond to the beautiful Pacific Ocean. What a great place to spend your honeymoon! Or, perhaps a romantic getaway . . . .

Enjoy ocean views and tropical breezes from your private lanai. Just across the street is a fun snorkeling beach as well as an oceanfront fine dining restaurant where you can enjoy colorful sunsets and delicious meals. That is, of course, when you are not creating island-style culinary delights in your own fully equipped kitchen.

There is plenty to experience in Poipu -- golf a beautiful Robert Trent Jones, Jr. course, go snorkeling or scuba diving, surf or windsurf, go horseback riding, take an ATV tour along red dirt trails, and so much more.

Or, you can lounge on the beach and watch the waves roll in. Or, bring a good book to the recently renovated and rarely crowded swimming pool where you can take a refreshing dip whenever the mood strikes.

If you enjoy leisurely walks, you might enjoy a stroll to the visitor's center of two National Tropical Botanical Gardens. McBride Garden offers self-guided tours while tours of Allerton Garden are guided. Trams from the visitor's center will take you on a 15-minute ride to the starting points of the tours.

Across Lawai Road from the gardens is one of Kauai's natural wonders and one of its most photographed places. "Spouting Horn" is a blowhole where the ocean surf channels into a natural lava tube and releases a huge spout of water during large swells. You may even hear the hiss and roar that is attributed to a character in an ancient Hawaiian legend.

Dine out at a variety of restaurants nearby where you can choose from many styles of delectable cuisine.
